• Ashe volleyball gets three MVAC wins (reflector.com) — Ashe County High's Lady Huskies volleyball team, based in West Jefferson, has surged to a 6-0 conference record after sweeping all four Wilkes County schools. Standouts like Emmie Jones, Josie Cheek, Kinzley Blevins, and Norah Howell led dominant wins with big kill, dig, and ace totals. The team now heads to Elkin Tuesday before hosting North Wilkes Thursday.
