Mark your calendars for June 14th Flag Day Picnic!
Leland’s John E. Jacobs American Legion Post 68, the Town of Leland and the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce will host a community picnic at Leland’s Founders Park to commemorate Flag Day and America’s 250th anniversary.
Bea Frost, Commander, Post 68, and the Honorable Brenda Bozeman, Town of Leland Mayor, will open the festivities. Participating organizations include the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce, the Brunswick Town Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Blue Star Mothers, Legion Post 68, Be The One, and others.

Founders Park is across the street from Leland Town Hall. The event is open to all area residents. Opening ceremonies begin promptly at 12 pm. at the park’s Military Memorial Plaza. Attendees should bring their own chairs and plan to arrive by 11:30 am. Local food vendors, including Crofton’s Pretzels, Hot Diggity Dogs and Hogs, and CC’s Frozen Treats, will be on site with refreshments for sale.
