While Forsyth County reviews the plant's air permit, Clemmons-area residents are pressing officials to reject it over pollution, traffic, and noise worries that could affect nearby schools, parks, churches, and homes.

Winston-Salem teenager charged in Islamic Center of San Diego mass shooting appears in court (wxii12.com) — A Winston-Salem teenager is jailed and facing first-degree murder and conspiracy charges, accused of helping plan and livestream a deadly May mass shooting at a San Diego mosque. The state is broadening access so medically fragile babies can receive prescribed donor milk through pharmacies, lactation centers, and an expanding network of depots across North Carolina.
