• TRAFFIC ALERT: Paving project scheduled to begin this week in Wrightsville Beach (wect.com) — Expect lane closures and delays soon as Wrightsville Beach begins curb, gutter, and paving work on S. Lumina Avenue and N. Channel Drive, with milling and paving set for May 4–6. Residents may temporarily lose driveway access, face dust and traffic delays, and must pull back any artificial turf near the street to avoid damage.
