• NCDOT to start utility relocation for Wrightsville Beach bridge replacements (wect.com) — Utility relocation for the Wrightsville Beach bridge replacement project will begin this summer, bringing intermittent lane closures around the West Salisbury Street bridge over Lees Cut. NCDOT and the Town of Wrightsville Beach say they’ll keep residents updated as surveying, right-of-way staking, and eventual bridge closures move forward after Labor Day.
