Fargo Sports Complex Announcement Event With Video

The planned Fargo Sports Complex will address a critically unmet need for indoor recreation facilities available in the Fargo community.

On Tuesday, December 7, 2021, the Fargo Park District held a media event to unveil the plans for the Fargo Sports Complex and announce the support of the project's current 11 community partners. Video from the event can be found above.

The planned Fargo Sports Complex will address a critically unmet need for indoor recreation facilities available in the Fargo community. Once opened, the Fargo Sports Complex is expected to benefit more than 13,000 kids in our community in its first year of operation and attract over 600,000 visitors annually. The facility plans include 1 full size indoor soccer turf field, 4 full size basketball courts, administrative offices, Sanford POWER, multipurpose community space and an indoor walking track.

Program speakers include Fargo Park District Executive Director Dave Leker, Fargo Park Board President Vicki Dawson, Sanford Health President & CEO Bryan Nermoe, Fargo-Moorhead Convention & Visitors Bureau President & CEO Charley Johnson, Midco Director of Corporate Communications Paige Pearson Meyer and Foundation Project Manager Craig Bjur.
