4. The 'Verna Way' road opens, as grandson honors grandmother (inforum.com) — A new private road off 19th Avenue North in Fargo now bears the name "Verna Way," honoring the grandmother of local construction company owner Hans Grafstrom. Family from across the region gathered at Grafstrom Construction for music, lefse, and a ribbon-cutting celebrating Verna's lifetime of hard work and hospitality.
   

5. Prep highlights: Park Christian sweeps Thunderbirds (inforum.com) — Fargo volleyball fans saw several tight Eastern Dakota Conference battles, with West Fargo Sheyenne sweeping Fargo North and West Fargo Horace and West Fargo edging Fargo Davies and Fargo South in five-set thrillers.
