• Fargo schools briefly secured after report of armed man; district apologizes for messaging error (kfgo.com) — Several south Fargo schools briefly went into a precautionary "secure the building" status after a report of an armed man nearby, but police found no suspect or evidence of a crime and declared no active threat. The entire Fargo district then received an emergency alert by mistake, prompting the superintendent to apologize and explain a software error while confirming students and staff remained safe.
