Hector International Airport opens a new skyway (kfgo.com) — Fargo travelers now have a new enclosed skyway connecting Hector International Airport's parking garage directly to the terminal, cutting the walk to under 15 minutes in any weather. Airport leaders say the $47 million project, including the ramp, is meant to boost comfort, safety, and convenience as more than 600,000 passengers move through Fargo's growing airport each year.
   

2. Police investigating after 2 found dead in Fargo apartment (inforum.com) — Two people were found dead in a south Fargo apartment after police and firefighters forced entry during a welfare check, and investigators are now awaiting autopsy results to determine what happened. Authorities say there were no obvious signs explaining the deaths, and they have not yet said whether foul play is suspected, leaving many nearby residents looking for answers.
   

3. Fargo sex offender ordered back to prison after probation violation (valleynewslive.com) — A Fargo man convicted of sex offenses involving a minor has been ordered back to prison after a judge ruled he violated probation by hiding unreported cell phones and pornography. With his original sentence reinstated, he faces roughly 10 more months in state custody and must continue lifetime sex offender registration and no contact with the victim.

Latest Honor Flight of ND/MN veterans share experience, stress everyone eligible signs up (kfgo.com) — Fargo residents welcomed home 240 Korean and Vietnam-era veterans this week as the latest North Dakota–Minnesota Honor Flight returned from Washington, D.C. Participants described powerful visits to memorials, the healing of shared experiences, and urged all eligible veterans in the Fargo region to sign up for future flights so they can receive long-overdue recognition.
   

5. Fall Colors, Community Gardens and a Super El Niño (prairiepublic.org) — Fargo residents can learn how Growing Together's community gardens bring longtime locals and New Americans together to raise fresh, culturally important foods right in town. The program also highlights where to catch peak fall colors in northeastern North Dakota and what a strong El Niño could mean for the state's winter ahead.
