• I-90 interchange ramp in Lorain County will close for two weeks (cleveland.com) — Drivers around Avon should prepare for the Ohio 254 entrance ramp to I-90 west to be closed from Tuesday through Sept. 22 as part of a major I-90 widening project from the Ohio 611 interchange in Avon toward Elyria. The $111 million effort will last into 2028, with lane splits and detours that could significantly affect daily commutes and Turnpike access.
