St. Mary Avon School Open House - January 25, 2015
St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception School will host its annual Open House on Sunday, January 25, from 10:00am through 1:00pm.
Located on Stoney Ridge Road just South of Detroit Road, St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Avon has provided exemplary Catholic education for nearly 170 years. The school provides faith-based curriculum of core subjects for grades Kindergarten through 8, daily religion classes, weekly Mass for all students, plus art, music, and technology enrichment.
In addition, numerous extra-curricular activities are available to students, including Student Council, Drama Club, Glee Club, Robotics Club, Band, Academic Challenge, Environmental Club, Yearbook, Altar Servers, Lectors, Choir, Intramural and CYO sports for grades K through 8, and more. St. Mary also offers after-school care, as well as a wide variety of special interest camps and labs throughout the year.
Technology is well-integrated into everyday classroom teaching, through SmartBoard, SmartTable, iPad, iPod, and laptop use by teachers and students.
