• Brecksville man pleads guilty in $3M investment fraud scheme (fox8.com) — A federal fraud case tied to a Brecksville man directly affected at least one Berea resident, who was among several victims in a $3 million fake investment scheme. Prosecutors say the defendant spent nearly half the money gambling, and he now faces lengthy prison time when sentenced in January 2027, underscoring risks for local investors.
