Coronavirus: Ohio Crosses 2,000 Hospitalizations
At least 6,975 Ohioans have contracted the new coronavirus since the outbreak began in March, state health officials said.
OHIO — Ohio health officials confirmed the state has had 6,975 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus since the outbreak began in March. As of Monday afternoon, 274 Ohioans have died due to complications from the virus.
There have been more than 2,000 hospitalizations since the COVID-19 outbreak began. More than 600 Ohioans have been treated in intensive care units because of the virus.

Cuyahoga County leads Ohio with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 1,197. Mahoning County has seen the most death related to the virus, with 31 confirmed dead.
