Ohio Highway Trooper Hit By Car While Going To Cleveland Crash
Investigators with the Highway Patrol said the trooper was hit by an impaired driver on W. 130th Street.

CLEVELAND — An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper was hurt when an allegedly intoxicated driver hit his cruiser at 3 a.m. in Cleveland.
The trooper was asked to check out a car crash on I-71, near Cleveland, at 3 a.m. While driving to the site of the accident, over snow covered roads, a Kia Sportage ran a stop sign and hit the trooper's cruiser, the Highway Patrol said.
Trooper J.M. Norton, 26, was going north on W. 130th, near Kirton Avenue, in the Highway Patrol's Dodge Charger. As Norton approached the intersection, a Kia Sportage going west on Kirton blew through a stop sign and hit the cruiser, on the driver's side, the Highway Patrol said.
