Cleveland Heights Police Get Donation Of Hand Sanitizer

Cleveland Heights police said their supply of hand sanitizer was running dangerously low before this donation.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” The Northeast Ohio community continues to step up to protect first responders. This week, the Blaster Corporation donated hand sanitizer to the Cleveland Heights police department.

"Our supply has depleted and this came just in time. We are so grateful to those in Northeast Ohio who are looking out for us and helping us get through this," the police department said in a statement on Facebook.

Last week, boxes of masks and gloves were donated to the Cleveland Heights police and fire departments. The protective equipment, so crucial during the coronavirus outbreak, was gifted by Chaverim of Cleveland and Longwood Beauty Supply.

"Cleveland Heights is a truly amazing community with so many looking out for their neighbors, our local businesses and the city's first responders," a city spokesperson said.
