• Cleveland Heights' annual Fall Fest returns Oct. 11 (heightsobserver.org) — Cleveland Heights is inviting residents to its free, family-friendly Fall Fest on Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Community Center, with food trucks, kids' activities, and a Touch-a-Truck zone. New this year, locals can sample fitness demo classes, enjoy Senior Activity Center programming, and even skate for free on the ice rink, making it an easy neighborhood outing for all ages.
   

• 'Daphne's Dive' review: Dobama Theatre serves up a moving portrait of chosen family (cleveland.com) — Dobama Theatre in Cleveland Heights is staging the regional premiere of "Daphne's Dive," a warm, character-driven drama about a chosen family that unfolds in a North Philadelphia bar. Running through Oct. 18 on Lee Road, the production features a strong ensemble cast, detailed set design, and emotionally resonant storytelling that local theatergoers can experience close to home.
   

• City of Cleveland Launches Two Solar Projects to Provide Locally Generated Clean Energy and Savings (clevelandohio.gov) — New solar arrays planned on two Cleveland landfills will generate up to 9 megawatts of power, cutting costs for Cleveland Public Power customers and Cleveland Hopkins Airport users, including many Cleveland Heights residents. Funded through a major EPA grant to Cuyahoga County partners, the project builds on Enerlogics' previous solar work in Cleveland Heights and aims to reduce pollution while restoring former industrial land.
