PNC Bank Robbed In Northeast Ohio This Week

The FBI released images of the suspected bank robber. PNC is offering a $5,000 reward for tips on the robbery.

EUCLID, OH β€” A PNC Bank in Euclid was robbed on Tuesday afternoon, the FBI announced. Investigators are hoping the public can help identify the suspected robber.

The PNC at 285 Babbit Road was robbed by an unidentified man at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday. The suspect was a white man, believed to be in his late 50s or early 60s, the FBI said. He was approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall.

During the robbery, he wore a surgical mask and appeared to walk with a limp. No one was hurt during his robbery. Photos of the suspect are above this article.

Tips on the robbery can be given to the Cleveland Division of the FBI, the Euclid police department or Crime Stoppers. Tipsters can be anonymous. Reward money is available for tips that lead to the successful identification and prosecution of the suspect.

PNC Bank is also offering an additional reward of $5,000 for the identification, arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Two Northeast Ohio banks were robbed on Tuesday. An unidentified man also robbed a Huntington Bank inside a Giant Eagle in Fairview Park.
