May 27, 2019, an EF4 tornado struck our community, damaging more than 1,000 structures. Although the City of Dayton had plans to host a commemorative event, current health recommendations have prevented moving forward with initial plans.

To commemorate the first anniversary, we are asking residents to put a rainbow in their window as a symbol of Dayton’s resiliency and spirit.
