• Officers respond to crash involving police cruiser at busy Dayton intersection (whio.com) — A Butler Township police cruiser was involved in a crash Saturday night on North Main Street near the I-75 interchange in Dayton, briefly closing part of the busy corridor. The road has since reopened, and Dayton and Butler Township police are still determining the cause of the crash and whether anyone was injured.
   

• Dayton drops 56 in big win over Morehead State (dayton247now.com) — Dayton football fans have plenty to cheer about after the University of Dayton Flyers exploded for 56 points in a home win over Morehead State, moving to 4-1 on the season. A big passing day from quarterback Bryce Schondelmyer and multiple standout touchdowns powered the highest-scoring game of the year as the Flyers now look ahead to Butler next weekend.
