Dayton graffiti program receives nearly 30 reports in first week (whio.com) — Dayton's new "Graffiti Delete" program is already busy, logging 25 cleanup requests in its first week compared with just one report during the same period last year. Residents can now easily report graffiti online through the Dayton Delivers portal, by phone, or via live chat so city crews can target problem spots in neighborhoods and business districts.
   

2. Moving Day Dayton brings community together to support those living with Parkinson's (dayton247now.com) — Dayton residents just wrapped up the annual Moving Day event, where neighbors gathered to support people living with Parkinson's and raise money for research and care. The walk-style fundraiser, part of a national Parkinson's Foundation campaign, focused on building local support networks and encouraging people affected by the disease to speak up and stay active together.
   

3. Best colleges in Ohio (whio.com) — University of Dayton ranks fourth on a new list of Ohio's top four-year colleges, spotlighting a strong Niche grade and solid acceptance and SAT ranges. The statewide ranking compares UD with other well-known schools, helping local families gauge how their hometown option stacks up against competitors across Ohio.
   

4. Thieves Steal $400,000 Pontiac GTO Judge Owned by the Same Family for 56 Years, Cops Recover It 5 Hours Later (hotcars.com) — Dayton police quickly recovered a rare 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge, valued at more than $400,000, after it was stolen along with its trailer and tow truck on September 21. The visiting family, in town to show the car, got all three vehicles back within about five hours thanks to Dayton detectives' fast work.
   

5. U.S. Chamber Endorses Rep. Mike Turner for Ohio's Tenth District on National Free Enterprise Express Opportunity Tour (uschamber.com) — In Dayton, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce stopped its national Free Enterprise Express bus tour to endorse Rep. Mike Turner for reelection in Ohio's 10th District. Chamber leaders praised Turner's support for pro-business, free-enterprise policies and framed the visit as part of a broader pushback against government-directed economic approaches they say threaten innovation, growth, and opportunity.
