• Skeletal Remains Found In Defiance County River Determined To Be Non-Human (thevillagereporter.com) — Authorities have confirmed that skeletal remains recently found in the St. Joseph River in Defiance County are not human, but animal bones plus a realistic replica jaw. The Defiance County Sheriff's Office urges residents to avoid touching any suspicious bones they find and instead call law enforcement so they can safely investigate.
