📰 News we're reading
• Fall grape harvest feeling effects of weather (gazettenews.com) — Grape growers around Geneva, including Ferrante Winery on State Route 307, are reporting very low yields this fall after winter damage and spring freezes, though wine quality remains promising. Nearby vineyards like Kosicek are also seeing sharply reduced crops for several varieties, but strong harvests in 2024 and 2025 mean local wineries still have enough wine in reserve to weather this difficult season.
