Aldi Stores E.Coli Flour Recall Includes Ohio
A potential E.coli contamination prompted Aldi to announce the recall.

Bags of flour sold at Aldi have been recalled for possible E.coli contamination, according to the FDA.
The FDA said Aldi has recalled Bakers Corner All Purpose Flour, which was sold at Aldi locations mainly in the northeast. According to the FDA, the flour was sourced from ADM Milling Co., a production facility in Buffalo, New York.
The FDA said the flour was distributed to Aldi stores in Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia.

The recalled flour is sold in a five pound bag with a best if used by date of Dec.2, 2019. The lot code is L18A02B and the UPC code is 041498130404.
Aldi has taken the flour off the shelves in the affected states.

“ALDI takes the safety and integrity of the products it sells seriously,” the company said in the announcement shared by the FDA. “If customers have product affected by this voluntary recall, they should discard it immediately or return it to their local store for a full refund.”
