• Man driving on a flat tire charged with OVI: Lakewood Police Blotter (cleveland.com) — Recent Lakewood police reports include an impaired driver stopped after grinding along Clifton Boulevard on a flat tire and another OVI arrest on West 117th Street. Officers also handled a disorderly conduct case involving a man passed out on Detroit Avenue and investigated thefts of a bicycle and an e-bike from local neighborhoods.
• Billy Ray Cyrus Joins DELTONA on Party's In The Back Remix (broadwayworld.com) — Billy Ray Cyrus is teaming up with country-rock trio DELTONA for a remix of "Party's In The Back," and they're bringing the song to Lakewood with a November 21 show at The Roxy at Mahall's. Fans can expect a loud, rowdy set that blends classic country influences with rock energy as DELTONA supports George Birge on tour.
• Ohio lawmakers suspend state gas tax for 90 days (timesleaderonline.com) — Ohio lawmakers have voted to suspend the state gas and diesel taxes for 90 days, a move expected to save drivers a few dollars a week while costing the state hundreds of millions. Lakewood's Democratic legislators Tristan Rader and Nickie Antonio criticize the measure as fiscally reckless and raise concerns about political conflicts of interest in Senate leadership.
