Flu Shots To Be Offered To Lakewood Students
The shots will be available to 100 percent of the student body, the school district said on social media.

LAKEWOOD, OH — In the midst of a heat wave, it's hard to fathom the coming flu season. Still, the days will soon turn chilly, the leaves will become a kaleidoscope of colors, and a bunch of Northeast Ohioans will begin running fevers.
To keep students healthy, the Lakewood City Schools have partnered with Healthy Schools to bring flu shots to the district. The goal is to provide the shots to 100 percent of the student body, the district said on social media.
Trained nurses will be administering the shots during the school day. Signed-up students will need an insurance card (or a parent with an insurance card) on-hand. Students can be signed-up for flu shots by clicking here.
