• Brown earns district berth, places third at sectional (recordherald.com) — A standout girls tennis performance at Logan High School saw Washington junior Cambry Brown clinch third place at sectionals and earn a berth in the district singles tournament. Logan-area fans also saw several strong matches involving Logan Elm and other regional teams as players battled for seeding ahead of the Oct. 5 district event at Ohio University. 
• Heliene launches new solar rooftop module, secures supply agreement with Sunrun (pv-tech.org) — Logan is now home to the country's first fully operational solar glass plant, where Stewart Glass recently began producing specialized front-pane solar glass. That local facility plays a key role in Heliene's new US-made rooftop solar module, tying Logan directly into a growing domestic clean-energy supply chain and future residential solar projects nationwide.
