The Marietta Aquatic Center is set to reopen: Michelle Newbanks of the Marietta Times reports that the Marietta Aquatic Center is scheduled to reopen on May 29th. Mayor Josh Schlicher told the paper that there would be a lot of work done between now and then to make sure there's a nace grand opening. Pre-season passes will be available through the month of April on the city’s website at http://www.mariettaoh.net.

ODOT calls for drivers to be mindful: Laura Bowen of WTAP reports that The Ohio Department of Transportation is kicking off construction season this week. ODOT is set to put nearly $2,000,000,000 into projects across the state, but Washington County sill see about 12,000,000 of that investment. With this comes hazardous conditions for road workers. There have already been 52 ODOT crews that motorists have crashed into this year alone. ODOT officials say if you see a work crew, get into the lane farthest away.
New Ohio health orders: Brett Wharff of WMOA reports that Governor Mike DeWine released revised health orders on Monday. Masks will still be mandatory indoors and outdoors where distancing isn't possible. Gatherings are still limited to 10 people, but multiple groups of up to 10 people can gather for activities like dining or sporting events.

DeWine wants most college students vaccinated before Summer: Andy Chow of the Statehouse News Bureau reports that more than 50 college and universities across Ohio are launching COVID-19 vaccination clinics this week. Governor Mike DeWine says the goal is to have every student vaccinated before classes end in May.
