Marietta historical tidbit of the day:

Marietta has been home to four Ohio governors. The first three were Return Jonathan Meigs Jr., John Brough, and George White. The fourth was C. William O'Neill. He was born in Marietta and had served in the legislature as speaker of the House before becoming governor in 1956. After his reign as governor he went on to be Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court. He's the only man in Ohio's history to hold the highest office in all three branches of state government. He died in 1978 and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery.

2. Governor Mike DeWine says we have two Ohio's now, one which is safe (vaccinated for COVID-19) and one which is not (unvaccinated for COVID-19). He says it's up to local leaders to and businesses to determine mask mandates and vaccine incentives. (Statehouse News)
3. Everyone is expected to be okay after a three-car crash in Belpre. It happened on Washington Boulevard around noon yesterday. Two drivers were cited, one was sent to the hospital as a precaution. (WTAP)
4. Ohio released their new guidelines for k-12 schools this week. Their goal is to keep kids in school 5 days a week. (ODH)
