1. The Marietta Aquatic Center is open! Jacob Krantz and Brett Wharff of WMOA News report that the Marietta Aquatic Center's grand opening was held yesterday at noon. It is now open for the season. (WMOA)
2. Marietta College baseball lost to Rowan 2-0. The Etta Express is now in the loser's bracket for the NCAA Tournament. However, if they win at noon they get to play Rowan this afternoon in the championship game. (Marietta College)
3. The Washington County Sheriff's Office is looking for a couple of cars believed to be involved in Belpre storage locker thefts. (Patch)
4. The Marietta College men's rowing team wrapped up their season yesterday. They finished 25th in the country. (Marietta College)
5. Marietta College track star Alex Dimon gets All-American honors. He came in second in the 110-meter hurdles at the NCAA championships yesterday. (Marietta College)

- WillowCreekMX Opening Day is Sunday. The club at WillowCreek will be teaching motocross at 11 am in Whipple. Details can be found here.
- The Washington County Veterans Service Commission is renaming their building on Memorial Day. On Monday the 31st at 4 p.m. there will be a renaming ceremony held in honor of Chad Wright. Details can be found here.
- Henderson Hall Sightseeing on Tuesday, June 1st. This will start at the Valley Gem Landing where you will board the boat and depart at 10:30 a.m. for the Henderson Hall landing. There you will disembark and ride the trolley to the Henderson Hall grounds and tour. More details here.
