Marietta Main Street is asking folks to take some time and vote for downtown businesses that deserve extra recognition.

MARIETTA, OH — Marietta Main Street posted to Facebook today that their Main Street Awards nomination process is starting. They ask folks to take time out of their day to vote on which businesses downtown deserve extra recognition. Here is their post.

Our Main Street Awards nominations ballot is officially LIVE! Please take a handful of minutes to think about who in our downtown community deserves to be recognized in any one of up to eight categories!

One featured category is the Community Builder of the Year Award, to be awarded to an individual who has facilitated the development of our downtown community and unified people for the betterment of Marietta, Ohio.

Previous recipients of this award include Laura Pytlik (Owner of Wit & Whimzy), Bobby & Sara Rosenstock (Owners of Just A Jar Design Press), and Geoff Schenkel (4th Ward City Councilor). Last year, we saw lots of individuals step up to help our downtown in meaningful ways - help us celebrate those standouts by making a nomination!
