Front, Greene intersection closure extended (mariettatimes.com) — Drivers in Marietta should plan around the extended closure of the Front and Greene streets intersection, now expected to last at least through Monday, Oct. 12, due to complications with deep sewer line work and new crosswalk concrete. Access to the 100 block of Front Street remains available via Butler Street while crews replace aging infrastructure.

Teen of the Week: Miley Knowlton named as first female Eagle Scout for Troop 203 (mariettatimes.com) — Marietta High School senior Miley Knowlton is making local history as Troop 203's first female Eagle Scout while juggling National Honor Society, color guard, and theatre.
