A Cutler man is sentenced for a quick draw that led to death: Todd Baucher of WTAP reports that Jeremy Miller pleaded guilty to killing his stepson Taylor Austin Feick last year. Miller told Washington County deputies he and Feick had been facing each other with pistols when his went off, and he didn't know his was loaded. The gun wasn't the only thing loaded, Miller pleaded guilty to using weapons while intoxicated, and reckless homicide. He will spend 90-days behind bars and three years on probation.

Ohio is losing one Congressional seat: The results of the 2020 Census are in, Ohio is one of the losers. New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Illinois and California are all losing one Congressional district. If New York had 89 more people they wouldn't have lost a district, Census officials say Ohio was the next closest to keeping a district, but we don't know exactly how close that is yet. There will be new district lines drawn and with new laws governing that it's very unclear what this decade's Ohio Congressional District map will look like.

A Marietta College baseball player is pitcher of the week, again: On Monday afternoon, Marietta College junior Sam Mathews was named Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the week. This is his second time winning this award. He helped the Etta Express beat Muskingum University three games in a row. He's 5-1 with 48 strikeouts and just four walks. He leads the OAC in earned run average.

Socks for the homeless at Ely Chapman: Mitchell Blahut of WTAP reports that students at the Ely Chapman Learning Center got a chance to help those in need. Marietta College student Allison Barnes worked with the kids as a part of the "next gen program." The idea was to help the homeless, and teach the kids about why socks are important for survival. This program resulted in more than 100 socks being donated to Jackson Patterson who runs a homeless center called the "Front Street Drop-in Center."

Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan announces Senate run: Jo Ingles of the Statehouse News Bureau say Democratic Congressman Tim Ryan will try to take Rob Portman's vacant seat. Portman isn't running for reelection next year and with a 50-50 split in the Senate, this race is going to be huge. Ryan has been in Congress since 2013. Ryan is the first Democrat to enter the race, so far we have four Republicans in contention.
