Marietta College softball win game one at Otterbein: On Friday Marietta College softball split a doubleheader with Otterbein University. The Pioneers won game one 6-3 and the Cardinals won game two 6-4. This brings Marietta's record to 12-18. These teams face off again Monday for another doubleheader.

Toy and Doll Museum is reopening: Michelle Newbanks of the Marietta Times reports that the Children's Toy and Doll Museum is opening for the season this weekend. Museum higherups say they were closed last year, but that gave them time to inventory the museum while cleaning and painting it. The doors open Saturday afternoon and there will be a number of new displays. Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children, and folks wanting to do larger groups can arrange that by calling 740-373-5900.
