Lakeland will offer free, 45-minute, noncredit classes that will be open to the public. More than 30 courses ranging from androids and acupuncture, to effective writing and treasure hunting will be offered.
A number of special events are also planned for the day, including an early morning nature hike through Lakeland’s diverse habitat; a Post Secondary Enrollment Option session for high school students looking to take their junior or senior year at Lakeland; a book sale at the Library; and tours of the new and state-of-the-art Holden University Center.
Lakeland will serve a specially priced breakfast and a free lunch for all participants in Lakeland’s Breakers Dining Hall.
