• Wheel, Walk, Run event brings together Broadmoor and Riverside students (news-herald.com) — Broadmoor School's Mentor campus welcomed Riverside High School students for its long-running Wheel, Walk, Run event, pairing students of different abilities to complete laps together and build friendships. Throughout the day, Riverside teens supported Broadmoor students from preschool through older grades, emphasizing inclusion, physical activity, and mentoring. Organizers say the decades-old tradition showcases Broadmoor's energetic, community-focused spirit.
• Lake County saw lowest price for midgrade gas at $4.18 in week ending Sept. 19 (lakecountytimes.com) — Lake County drivers, including those in Mentor, saw midgrade gas as low as $4.55 per gallon locally, while the county's overall low hit $4.18 at one station. With county averages around $4.91 and statewide prices similar, the data highlights where different Lake County communities are finding relatively cheaper fuel.
