Got Family Conflict? Handling Parent-Teen (13-17 years) Disagreements

This program session starts Wednesday SEPTEMBER 5th with a second program session starting Thursday October 18th.

Lake County Free Clinic invites any Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula county residents to join us for this Parent-Teen program. Got Family Conflict provides the opportunity to increase your ability to communicate with your teen (or parent) so you can better handle conflict and disagreements. Sessions are provided at no charge, are designed for parents and teens (age 13 to 17 years old), and will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. for 4 consecutive weeks.

Each week we will discover different conflict styles, how to best use the style, and when it doesn't work so well. Styles include avoiding, compromising, collaborating (problem solving), accommodating (giving in), and competing (forcing). Come discover your usual styles, develop others you don't use so often, and learn to communicate with your parent/teen in more effective ways.
