Lakeland Community College will host a virtual presentation, “Coronavirus Pandemic: A Global Failure,” Friday, Oct. 2, from 11 a.m. – noon. Participants may log in to this free presentation via Webex at bit.ly/LCC-corona-presentation, password: corona2020.

An expert panel of distinguished Lakeland faculty will discuss the pandemic and share their insights on the biology of SARS COV-2, its ecological origins, risk factors and current testing.
Presenters include: Steven Vieira, Ph.D., professor of biology, Mikhail Khoretonenko, Ph.D., associate professor of biology and Jaydip Das Gupta, Ph.D., adjunct professor of biology and biotechnology.

The presentation will be followed by a Q & A.
