• Dom Amore: UConn football, after a notable win, heads for hallowed halls of the 'Cradle of Coaches' (courant.com) — Miami's storied "Cradle of Coaches" tradition will be on full display when UConn visits Oxford this Saturday to face the RedHawks at 3:30 p.m. Bronze statues of legendary coaches ring the stadium, underscoring how Miami's football history and current success continue to bring national programs and attention right into Oxford.
   

• Monroe City Council votes unanimously to terminate Flock contract (wlwt.com) — Monroe's city council has voted unanimously to end its contract with Flock and shut off all automated license plate readers, citing concerns about government overreach and privacy. Oxford is currently the only other Butler County community to disable its Flock cameras, putting both cities at the center of a growing local debate over safety versus surveillance.
