Police said that on July 17 at around 2 a.m., a 13-year-old female was driving an electric scooter with her 12-year-old friend riding on the back. The officer said that there were no lights or reflectors on the scooter and they had been swerving in and out of their lane. The two girls told their mothers that they would be staying over at the other's home. The girls were released to their parents.
