Two indicted in Ohio for allegedly defrauding investors in Ponzi scheme (wlwt.com) — A Toledo man and a Michigan woman have been indicted in Lucas County, accused of running a Ponzi-style investment scheme that allegedly took more than $1.7 million from mostly elderly investors in Ohio and Michigan. State officials say the Toledo adviser continued steering clients into an unlicensed Michigan investment club even after losing his job, and both now face numerous felony securities and theft charges.
