• Tuscarawas teens can discover agriculture careers through new program (kentucky.com) — Tuscarawas County teens ages 13 to 19 can sign up now for a free, yearlong agriculture career program run by OSU Extension, starting in October. Monthly hands-on sessions in Tuscarawas County will explore everything from farm management and conservation to technology and policy, with chances to meet professionals and earn credentials toward the OhioMeansJobs Readiness Seal and an Ohio Honors Diploma. 
• Tuscarawas County Fair sales raise $1.62 million for 4-H youth (yourohionews.com) — Tuscarawas County Fair livestock, small animal, and dairy auctions raised more than $1.62 million this year to support local 4-H youth, despite a slight overall dip from 2025. From grand champion steers and hogs to a special dairy sale anniversary and scholarship quilt, the results highlight strong community support and resilience after a rainy, event-shuffled fair week.
