• Raw sewage, dead fish: Ohio EPA cited Pike County for sewage overflow that went unreported for weeks (sciotovalleyguardian.com) — Raw sewage from a Pike County sanitary sewer overflow sat for weeks along Howard Road in Waverly, killing more than 30 fish before state inspectors arrived in March. Ohio EPA cited the county for failing to report the spill within 24 hours and missing a required follow-up report, but says cleanup is complete and the violation is now resolved.
   

• 10 years after the Pike County massacre, families still wait for closure amid delays, appeals (fox19.com) — Waverly and Pike County families are marking ten years since the Pike County massacre while still waiting for full legal closure. Three Wagner family members have been convicted or pleaded guilty, but patriarch George “Billy” Wagner III has yet to stand trial, and prosecutors are appealing a controversial sentencing change for Jake Wagner. Ongoing appeals and judicial disputes continue to delay a final resolution.
