Bon Appétit: 4th Food Truck Challenge Comes To Crocker Park

WESTLAKE, OH — The fourth annual Food Truck Challenge will return to Crocker Park on Saturday. The all-afternoon competition will include a wide-range of food choices, free entry for the public, and a voting system to determine winners in each category.

The Food Truck Challenge will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the trucks lining the shopping complex's Main Street. Besides mouth watering food, there will also be live music and an awards ceremony for winners at 3 p.m.

The initial list of competing food trucks includes: Smooth Rider-Sweet! The Mobile Cupcakery, PastaTivo, Betty’s Bomb A** Burgers, Proper Pig-Hatfield’s Goode Grub, Hatfield’s Sweet Tooth, Boca Loca Burrito Factory, Smash Time-Smokin’ Rock N’ Roll, Wild Spork-Krav, Cookery, A Taste of Nawlins, Pierogi Joes, Flamingo Jacks, Wrap it Up, Fire Truck Pizza, Bearden’s, Manna Truck, DonutLab, CLE Chicken, and Fired Up Taco Truck. The list is subject to change, Crocker Park said.

Categories for judging will include things like "fan's best overall" and "best looking truck."

Guest judges for the contest include a panel of Cleveland notables, WKYC’s Austin Love, Fox 8’s Todd Meany, Channel 19’s Nichole Vrsansky & Chris Tanaka, Cleveland Magazine’s Kim Schneider, Glenn Anderson and Matt Hribar from Star 102, CLE Seats creator Lauren Kluth, Edible Cleveland’s Lisa Sands, and Stark Enterprises’ own Tina Roberts.
