Yesterday the FDA recognized a new over-the-counter medication, specifically marketed for treating a hangover. It's called Blowfish.
Two tablets in a glass of water is supposed to cure your hangover in 15-30 minutes.
Actually, these two tablets together contain 1000 mg of aspirin, 120 mg caffeine and some sodium bicarbonate. Sound familiar? It's like Alka-Seltzer on steroids with a cup of Starbuck's grande... but at a steeper price.

No wonder the FDA recognizes it as safe!
Two Alka-Seltzer tablets have 700 mg of aspirin, no caffeine and sodium carbonate with citric acid to give it a lemony taste. A cup of coffee has anywhere from 80-135 mg caffeine depending on the strength.

Alka-Seltzer goes for about 15 cents a tablet while Blowfish will cost you 2-3 dollars for the 2 tablets. Throw in some coffee for a few dollars and it might be a wash.
So, you be the judge.
What do I suggest for a hangover? Two tylenol, plenty of fluids to counter the dehydrating effects of alcohol, and a tincture of time. Better yet, consider moderation next time.
