Center Ridge, Dover Construction Starts This Week
Westlake officials said work has begun on several projects related to the new school building.
WESTLAKE, OH —Road work on the Center Ridge and Dover Center intersection started this week. The construction is being done in conjunction with the new school building being built next to the Porter Public Library.
City officials said traffic patterns are expected to change throughout the course of the project. Drivers are being asked to consider using alternate routes during the duration of the work.

- New intersection, with traffic signal, at Glenmore Drive and the new school, with dedicated turning lanes
- Center Ridge road widening and additional turn lanes, between Glenmore Drive and Doer Center Road.
- Right turn-only lanes at all quadrants of the Center Ridge Road and Dover Center Road intersection.
- A new intersection at Westown Boulevard and Dover Center Road, with a traffic signal.
- Installation of planters along the edge of the road as part of a streetscape beautification.
- Installation of new storm and water lines throughout the project.
