Columbia Road's I-90 Entrance Ramp Closing For 6 Weeks
The Ohio Department of Transportation said the ramp needs to be reconfigured. The ramp will close Aug. 7.

WESTLAKE, OH — Commuters lives are about to get more difficult. The Ohio Department of Transportation announced on Wednesday that it would be closing the Columbia Road entrance to I-90 for six weeks starting on Aug. 7. ODOT says the ramp will be reconfigured during that time.
Drivers will be detoured via Detroit Rd. to Clague Rd. where they can enter I-90 east. Commuters that typically get onto I-90 via Clague should expect delays and congestion.
The Columbia Road ramp work will not impact the westbound ramp, a spokesperson for ODOT told Patch. (To stay up to date on local stories, subscribe to the Patch Westlake newsletter. As news breaks and the story develops, you will be the first to receive updates from Patch.)

The lanes on I-90 will be shifted for the duration of the project, meaning the lanes should return to normal on October 2017.
