Officer Fahey's Funeral Procession Will Close Some Westlake Streets
Crocker Road south at Center Ridge Road will be closed Jan. 28, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., for the funeral procession staging.

WESTLAKE, OH - The funeral procession for Cleveland Police Officer David Fahey will run through Westlake on Jan. 28, starting at about 9 a.m. Fahey was killed Tuesday morning when he was struck by a car on I-90 while directing traffic.
Westlake Police say the funeral route will run north on Crocker Road and then east on Hilliard Boulevard. Crocker Road south at Center Ridge Road will be closed Jan. 28, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., for the funeral procession staging. Alternate southbound routes are Bradley Road and Porter Road.
Westlake police and fire personnel will be manning the intersections along Hilliard Boulevard in Westlake, to facilitate the passage of the cortege.

If you do encounter the funeral procession while driving, yield the right of way. Westlake police ask that you remember the sacrifice of Officer Fahey and be patient, do not use your car horn or any other distracting, noise making device.
