Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Liv and her grandma colored, taped on condo windows and provided for distribution 200 Cheer Up signs for all the residents living in Independent, Apartments and Assisted Living. Residents were so grateful Liv has received cards, cookies, stuffed animals as thank yous and my mother has received tons of phone calls from her fellow residents sharing how it just lifts them up from their loneliness and many have brought the sign into their home to look at every day. Liv has been going there and eating in their dining room as a special visitor for 8 years and she has become like their mascot because they all know who she is. We learned that seemingly small gestures to us really can help people when they are lonely.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
They love each other and love their neighbors
