Westlake Advertising Upcoming Event on Dealing with Opiate Epidemic

WESTLAKE, OH - Westlake City Hall is advertising an upcoming event on the opiate epidemic in Ohio and what you can do to help.

According to the CDC, Ohio is leading the nations in accidental heroin overdoses. The Greater Cleveland Drug Court and Rocky River Municipal Court are presenting a community discussion called “Parking the Ambulance at the Top of the Cliff” on Nov. 9, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Rocky River Memorial Hall (Civic Center – 21016 Hilliard Blvd.). It is open and free to all.

The discussion will focus on intervention from the patient, family and community perspective, what long-term recovery will require, and the community resources that are available.
