Westlake Cop Saves Trapped Ducklings (Video)
Patrolman Dennis Funari was struck by the overwhelming cuteness of the baby ducks

WESTLAKE, OH - Westlake Patrolman Dennis Funari made an extraordinary save this week, stopping to help a trio of baby ducks trapped in a sewer drain on Center Ridge Road.
"They were cute sunamaguns," Funari said.
Funari wasn't even on duty at the time of the rescue. He was on his way home from K9 training when he spotted the distressed ducks.

He stopped his car in the middle of the road, on his way home, and pulled the ducklings out of the drain, setting them gently on the sidewalk where they reunited with their parent.
Westlake police shared video of Funari's rescue and commended him for his actions, writing, "Good job Ptl. Funari on helping those in need!"
