WESTLAKE, OH - The city's annual computer pick-up and clean-up has been set for April 3-7 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and April 8 from 7:30 a.m. to noon. The city's Service Center will collect old computers and other aged electronics. Residents can drop the equipment off at the listed times at 741 Bassett Road.

The city has a list of acceptable materials for collection on its website. Residents are able to drop-off anything from computer towers, laptops, keyboards, Kindles, scanners, old gaming consoles, to microwaves, cameras, and battery back-up devices. Prohibited materials include televisions, household appliances (besides microwaves), hazardous waste, liquid mercury items, and light bulbs.
